** The 2026-2027 FH Regulation 210-25 combines the FH Circular 210-22, and the Hunting, Fishing, and Natural Resources Use Guide into one document. This regulation goes into effect 01 SEP 2026**

The link below is the hunting, fishing, and natural resource program's regulatory guidance for next season. The regulation and program changes will take effect on 1 September.

2026-27 Important Changes
- The Fort Hood Regulation 210-25, combines the Fort Hood Circular 210-22, and the Hunting, Fishing, and Natural Resource Use Guide into one document.
- Recreators are required to carry an operational cell phone while recreating that is associated with their iSportsman account.
- The Violations and Penalties section in Chapter 3 has been updated. (READ CAREFULLY!)
- If tracking game after 2000 hrs, you must notify DES police desk by calling 254-287-4001.
- Permits will continue to have the “Fort Cavazos” name, however the permits are valid for any recreation on Fort Hood.
Reminders
- No recreation (including fishing) between the 2200 and 0400 hours daily. Latest check out time for all recreators is 2159 (some activities require earlier check-out).
- Use of game/hunting/trail cameras is still prohibited on the installation.
- All feeders and assoicated equipment (ropes, pulleys, hoists, etc.) must be removed by 1 February annually.
