To apply to become a Recreation Mentor, you must fill out the following form located HERE. Once you have downloaded the form and typed your responses, please print the form, sign it, and return it to the iSportsman team via email. In the email, please add a short (2-3 sentence, less than 200 characters) bio explaining a little about yourself and why you want to be a mentor. (An example of a short bio: Hi, My name is Joe Smith, and I’ve hunted deer and pigs on Fort Cavazos for over 15 years! I want to help fellow hunters learn to scout and hunt on Fort Cav!)

The email address is: usarmy.cavazos.id-readiness.mbx.dpw-isportsman@army.mil. If you have additional questions, you can call our duty phone at 254-535-3295. If no one is available, please leave a message and someone will return your call. Please do not call the Game Warden office about the mentor program, as they will not be able to assist you.

When iSportsman staff receives an email request to connect with a Recreation Mentor, staff will evaluate which Recreation Mentors are a possible match for the requestor, and will forward a list of bios and contact information to the recreator.
